Originally from recipezaar.com
For anyone that wants to try a delicious marinade for kabobs, we invite you to try Buck’s beef marinade. We have been making this for spring and summer family ‘get togethers’ for over 10 years! It is our favorite for kabobs and we hope you give it a try!
Serves 6-8
1/2 cup canola oil or cooking oil of your preference
3/4 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dry mustard
2 1/4 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of coarse black pepper
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1/3 cup lemon juice
3 lbs top round kabob cuts
2 bell peppers (green whatever color you like or mix)
2 yellow onions
Prep:
Combine marinade ingredients in a large jar and shake.
Place cubed beef in a large bowl.
Pour marinade over meat and cover. Place in refrigerator for 6-8 hours.
Place some bamboo skewers in water one hour before grilling to soak.
Prepare for grilling:
Light the grill. Get large cookie sheet with a rim. Cut vegetables into chunk-size pieces and place aside.
Remove meat from the refrigerator. Begin to alternate meat chunks and vegetables on the soaked bamboo skewers and place on the rimmed cookie sheet.
When all the meat and veggies are skewered, place on the hot grill and cook to your preferred doneness.
