— WELCOME —
Bruce Ranch Beef CSA is a program that provides superior quality, local Angus beef to people in the Treasure Valley of Idaho.
SELECT YOUR BULK ‘SHARE’ ; RESERVE WITH DEPOSIT
Whether you are a couple, small-mid size family or a full household, we offer a ‘share’ of the harvest that is right for you and takes the guesswork out of buying safe, local, humanely-raised American beef.
Plus, you get to customize your beef to your preferences either 100% grassfed or grassfed/grain finish.
Step 1
KICK BACK AND RELAX
After harvest, we’ll notify you when your quarter, half or full ‘share’ is ready for Pick Up. You pay the final balance at this time.
Your beef is frozen solid so a cooler, box or crate works well to transport to your home.
*Home delivery is not included with our quarter, half or full ‘shares.’ If you require home delivery, it can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact us.
Step 2
COOK AND EAT EASILY
Our vacuum-sealed, perfect size portions are ready for your culinary skills whether they are simple or complex. Enjoy healthy, delicious beef and shine at your next family dinner or friendly BBQ with our slow grown Angus beef!
Step 3
What’s in a 1/4 or 1/2 ‘share’?
Our all natural beef is raised without antibiotics or growth hormones. The crops we grow on our ranch to feed our cattle are natural meadow grasses, clover, alfalfa and sometimes cover crops such as triticale.
A BEEF CSA (community supported agriculture) is a method for a group of people that want to connect directly with the local ranch family that produces the meat. Each customer (a.k.a. member) of the CSA buys a ‘share’ of a beef animal, paying a deposit upfront. Then when the harvest is complete the meat is ready for ‘shareholders’ to pick up. It is a direct, convenient, safe model that supports the local community.
We give each CSA customer a choice of 14 day dry-aged 100% grass fed or grass-fed/grain finished beef. Either choice is a healthy, lean meat with rich, fresh flavor.
All of our beef is certified Black Angus. The animals are slow grown primarily on our pastures, mountain range and ranch crops. We commit to our customers that no growth hormones or antibiotics are a part of our animals lives.
